91.2 g Rose Quartz crystals are rare. This one is from the famous Sapucaia Mine
Rose Quartz crystals are rare. This one is from the famous Sapucaia Mine, Sapucaia do Norte, Galileia, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil. I have decided to part out my Sapucaia Mine, rose quartz. The mine is well known for producing the very finest rose quartz crystals in the world. It is of excellent size at 91.2 grams and is complete both sides and all around but for the bottom detach point. Color is intense and appears to be all intact with no real damage all around. I hand picked the piece in Tucson years ago and it's been in my cabinet that long.
One would be hard pressed to find another or its perfection in condition, form and color. Google the one in the Smithsonian which comes from the same mine... "Van Allen Belt" specimen presently residing in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. This is a very special specimen in AAA condition!
